The biodynamic approach at Arlaud really does seem to be enabling the vines to produce fruit of outstanding purity and balance. There is just a hint of spice to the crunchy cherry fruit with a firm tannic structure balancing the wine’s rich texture. This is an excellent example of why Morey-St-Denis should be just as prized as its neighbours. As it is this commune's wines are a relative bargain within the Côte de Nuits.
