2014 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Malconsorts, Christiane, Domaine de Montille
The section nearest La Tâche has been vinified separately since 2005 in honour of Etienne’s mother, and tends to show more opulence than the ‘normal’ Malconsorts. Sensuous, complex, perfumed, elegance, ripeness, floral, expressive…we almost ran out of adjectives. Our tasting note signs off ‘minerality and sexiness’.
