2014 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux
An ethereal perfume escapes from the glass offering dark fruits and a slightly herbaceous note: this has a classic character given by the use of whole-bunch winemaking. The palate is all about texture, with unfurling velvet layers entwined with silky tannins. Pure and refined, this wine has plenty to offer, but will just need a little time.
