This name derives from the word ‘chaille’ which means small stones, and thanks to the specifics of the terroir Michel makes this wine separate to the village level Nuits. Open and expressive with red cherry and plum, this is very pure fruit expression with fresh acidity and a powerful mouthfeel: all the components you need for extended ageing.
