The vines in Duroché's section of this celebrated vineyard were planted in 1920, and the wine produced in unsurprisingly rich, concentrated and complex. A supple, silky texture leads into a finish of fruit and alluring, subtle spice. This is outrageously good, with balance, poise and power.
