Tarry black fruit and spice on the nose with hints of truffle and some new wood. The palate is tight, concentrated, powerful and undoubtedly Grand Cru. Aged in 50% new oak, Pascal cites this as his favourite cuvée in 2013; I can certainly understand why. This is a beautifully judged, complete wine.
