2013 Volnay 1er Cru Les Mitans, Domaine de Montille
The only wine in the de Montille range this year to use 100% whole bunch fermentation, Mitans is always the prettiest of de Montille's wines. It shows concentration, vivid fruit and has a real sense of energy and lift. It was so delicious, it was almost impossible to spit when tasting: normally a good sign.
