2013 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots, Domaine de l'Arlot

Les Suchots is deservedly recognised as one of the very best 1er crus in Vosne-Romanée, in a good year on a par with the Grands Crus. The 2013 from Domaine de l’Arlot is particularly impressive for its layered, silky texture, a core of red yet ripe fruit, raspberries and morello cherries, and superb, expansive aromatics. The structure is tight and firm, and this should happily age for the next 20+ years. Wonderful stuff!
