2012 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes, Maison Roche de Bellene

Seductive by nature, this wine is very much deserving of the vineyard’s moniker with its intense, raspberry liqueurlike fruit, its voluminous and richly textured mid-palate and its “barely there” fruit-coated tannins. Mouth-filling, ample, velvety with rich white chocolate on the finish, this certainly cannot be accused of shyness or austerity!

2012 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes, Maison Roche de Bellene
Nicolas Potel

In 2005, Nicolas built up his own Estate, Domaine de Bellene, in the Côte de Beaune. Then in 2008 launched his new negociant business called "Maison Roche de Bellene" which also includes a range of very rare older vintages, under the name "Collection Bellenum". These wines, dating back to 1959 are the result of a very strict selection of old vintages exceptionally released from the wine cellars of some of the most famous producers of Burgundy.
