A cooler site than Beaumonts, Petits Monts sits just above La Romanée, and the fruit is reminiscent of cassis, dried flowers and pepper. This is a linear wine which will fill out with bottle age, fine tannins and lace-like acids lift the fruit to Grand Cru level.
