A lieu dit of note, the silex (flint stone) terroir yields a softer and more seductive and spicy style of Nuits. Whilst dark berried fruit predominates on the nose, the palate shows vibrantly crunchy red currant fruit. There is an overall sense of balance between the fruit, structural tannins and acidity together with a savoury meaty character on the finish.
