Darker on the nose and more brooding and reserved than the Thorey. Serious, structural tannins frame deep, ripe dark berry fruit and forest floor notes. There is a lift of mineral acidity that interweaves throughout, giving this a cool freshness, particularly on the finish, which is lingering and attractive.
