2010 Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgers, Sylvain Cathiard

There is a feminine element to this wine, due largely to the fact that Murgers is located close to Vosne. There is also a denser, more muscular edge, with the power and richness one would expect from a Nuits-St-Georges. The ripe black cherry fruit is framed nicely by the new oak which adds an extra dimension of complexity.
