This is another exquisite offering from La Reine de Chambolle from her half-century-old vines. Very pure, concentrated crushed berry fruit with a darker cherry character. The nose is intense and rich, delightfully supported by pleasing oak. A spicy quality on the palate gives density and complexity that fills the whole mouth, balancing fresh damson fruit with the extremely fine tannic structure.
