2009 Chambolle Musigny, Méo-Camuzet Frère et Sœurs

The nose has a very seductive and alluring floral scent, with gorgeous strawberry compôte character. The palate is really rich and has an almost satin-like mouthfeel. Fantastically balanced and poised, this is a really classy wine.

2009 Chambolle Musigny, Méo-Camuzet Frère et Sœurs
Domaine Méo-Camuzet

The link with Henri Jayer continues to define, if not overshadow, this estate, which makes outstanding wines completely in its own right. Jean-Nicolas Méo took control in 1989, and the wines have rightfully developed a reputation for being polished, opulent and voluptuous, with wonderful intensity to the fruit. With fourteen hectares in some of the most prestigious parts of the Côte de Nuits, Méo-Camuzet also has a thriving negotiant business.
