2009 Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru, Aux Cheseaux, Domaine Arlaud
Great concentration of fruit on the nose, with savoury characters also coming through in the background. The palate mirrors the nose, with a deep concentration of fruit, ripe cherries, blackberries and spice. The tannins and the acidity work well with each other, balancing the wine and giving power and depth. This is seriously elegant wine with so much more to come over time.
