2009 Beaune 1er Cru Grèves, Domaine de Montille
A little rustic on the nose, but appealing none-the-less. The tannins here are quite prominent, but are well balanced by ripe fruit and a freshening acidity. Black fruit comes through, with a hint of peppery spice. A wine with a very pure nature and a lovely fresh finish.
