2009 Clos de Vougeot, Domaine Michel Gros

Quite closed on the nose in comparison to some of his other wines, but notes of dark berry fruits come through with time in the glass. Fine tannins are so well integrated as to seem almost light, balancing dark fruit characters. This is an elegant and subtle wine, with a long and beautiful finish.
