It is truly surprising how much development and complexity this wine shows, even though it is barely in its infancy. The rich, fat and juicy palate of black cherry fruit, with truffle and a hint of chocolate on the finish is underpinned by silky tannins and a tight structure. This complexity and precision would be enough to mark this wine as Grand Cru Burgundy, however the most impressive aspect of it is its finish: it just goes on getting more and more powerful - incredibly long and increasingly delicious.
