2008 Gevrey-Chambertin ' En Champs', Denis Mortet
Rich and concentrated with lots of tannin, this will require some patience. On the nose there is an almost Syrah-like edge of pepper, tar and cassis. The palate is ripe, with great texture and well-integrated new oak.
