Deep, with a duskier nature to the fruit than in the preceding wines.The fruit on the palate is almost peppery, with currant notes and swirls of creamy dark cherry.There is a lovely layered depth to this wine, which is finely knit, with a touch of spice. Almost Echézeaux-like in terms of its structure, with cherry stone minerality on the finish and a fine creamy persistence.
