2006 Beaune 1er Cru Greves, Domaine Hubert de Montille
Deeper, darker fruit characters on the nose, in contrast to the siziés. An assertive wine, de Montille’s greves is very complete, with a glossy texture on account of finely expressed tannins, which equally serve to restrain. A touch of earthy minerality and a long finish signal a very fine example.
