Blended from a number of parcels at both ends of the commune and formvines with an average age of 40 years. The nose is relatively closed withchocolatey, older oak notes. It opens up in the glass to reveal slightly darkerfruit characters. There is more red fruit evident on the palate and this is mouthfillingin an extremely delicate way. Tannins are evident but ripe and fine, thisis a wine of great length and beautiful balance.
