Many argue that Aux Malconsorts produces the quality of a grand cru wine and this would certainly be supported by our tasting last week. An impressively complex, earthy nose of fleshy red cherries, brambly fruits and spice. There is a wonderful perfumed intensity and depth to the palate. Tannins are fine but certainly offer some grip resulting in a beautifully balanced, textural wine.
