Amazing intensity again here albeit in a more feminine style with elegance dominating. This is proof that grand cru wines are not necessarily the biggest and most powerful styles. The grip here is noticeable but the tannins are fine and elegant. What really marks this out as a grand vin is the length on the finish – it just seems to go on and on with amazing complexity and layer upon layer of flavour.
