Hints of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, vanilla beans and toasty oak are present in the moderately intense aromatics. In the mouth the wine is medium to full-bodied, with good acidity, a somewhat monolithic character at present, but a long, concentrated, relatively sweet finish, with good acidity. Last tasted 12/02Score: 93, Robert Parker, Bordeaux Book (4), December 2003 Tasted at the chateau. O.K. - I think this is better than the 1990! Intense hue. Brilliant expressive apricot/orangey nose with tonnes of botrytis. Unctuous and fat. Slightly lower in acidity than other vintages. Very concentrated with an incredibly intense finish. Tasted July 2001. Score: 97-99Neal Martin, eRobertParker.com, July 2001
