A bright and vibrant Suduiraut this year made with 100% Semillon and coming in at 130g/l of residual sugar. This is so expressive from the moment it hits the glass with aromas of marmalade, saffron, orange peel, and honeysuckle. There is tension and a burst of freshness on the palate with honeyed apricot and hints of exotic fruit and grilled pineapple that emerge with air. Perfectly balanced, this is a wonderfully fine Sauternes that will evolve with elegance and grace.
This really is charming, full of marmalade and orange zest, saffron and lime, bitter finish in the best way, gives focus and rises up through the palate. 4.1 TA. 3.83 pH. 130 g/l. 50% new oak.
