The decision to harvest earlier than normal for the white Petit Cheval has resulted in a fine, electric white, reminiscent of the beautiful 2021. 71% Sauvignon Blanc with 29% Sémillon, the wine has been aged on lees in large oak casks to lend concentration and depth, but it’s the vibrancy here that brings us back again and again. Low yields, low production, but very much in the upper echelons of Bordeaux Blanc.
