The restrained nose gently opens to notes of ripe nectarine and acacia blossom. The palate is ripe and rounded, with notes of toffee, almond and bitter orange peel. This is a serious Sauternes with excellent acidity and fruit balance and a long, mineral finish. A fine example of the vintage.
