2007 Château Nairac, Barsac
Initially the nose is closed but deep down, evocative, luscious scents emerge.The palate really sings with flavours combining lush, ultra-ripe tropical fruits and the telltale toasty, honeyed, spicy notes of botrytis. Ripe apricot and peach flavours dominate this very impressive Sauternes. Long and rich but beautifully fresh, this is one of the stars of the vintage.
