2025 Château Gloria, St-Julien

2025 Château Gloria, St-Julien

Dark-fruited, this Gloria feels has an enticing, brooding quality. The intensity here builds through the palate, cassis fruit etched with graphite flowing with great control. Freshness and layers of violets lift from the glass. This is a wine with structure but seamlessly coated with ripe bramble fruit leading to a long gravelly finish.

Tasting notes

The 2025 Gloria was picked between September 10 and 19 and matured in 50% new oak. It has a lovely bouquet with well-defined blackberry, violet and crushed stone scents, the oak seamlessly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, grainy tannins, good concentration and a tensile, minerally finish. Bon vin.

This has a ton of intense cassis and bilberry fruits, lovely quality, this has balance and finesse, squid ink squid, cocoa bean, espresso, silky tannins, a very impressive wine. Yield 20 hl/ha.
