The 2023 Paveil de Luze is a potent Margaux Cru Bourgeois. Dark-toned fruit, spice, new leather and kick of French oak give the wine its extroverted personality. I find the oak a bit strong today, but the underlying material is quite promising.
The cabernet sauvignon fruit comes through nicely here, with flowers and currants as well as sandalwood. Fine and polished. Medium body.
