Tasted April 2024. Dark berry fruit on the nose with tobacco, cedar, and cigar box complexity. It's rich and quite opulent on the palate, with a frame of firm, ripe tannins.
From the very north of Saint-Estèphe, the 2023 Le Boscq is bright, focused and full of character. Blue/purplish fruit, spice, lavender, dried herbs and incense are some of the notes that grace this understated Bordeaux. A healthy dollop (6%) of Petit Verdot adds a spicy character that is especially evident on the persistent finish.
Very St.-Estephe with dark berry, mineral and fresh clove character. Medium body and firm tannins that follow through. Shows potential.
