The 2020 Bonalgue is a beautiful Pomerol, with silky tannins, bright fruit, and lots of freshness. There’s a tension here, and also a lot of purity. But the overwhelming sensation is of opulent, spicy fruit, and loads of texture. Very well done, and very good value.
