2020 Château Pédesclaux, Cru Classé Pauillac
A classy, youthful Pauillac that opens with notes of dark hedgerow fruit, wild herbs and pencil shavings. There is a ripeness and fleshiness to the palate which is finely delineated with a line of freshness and energy. Hints of kelp and soy add a savoury nuance to the wine and the finish shows accents of briar and wild herbs. A charming mid-weight Pauillac.
