A brilliant vintage from this St-Estèphe property on the rise. Meyney has become the go-to estate for quality that punches well above its price point. There's lovely balance here with deep, dark fruit, ripe and generous, but a more nuanced graphite, smoky, cedar edge keeping it complex and appetising. There's a refreshing quality to the wine, cutting through the youthful, powerful but elegant tannins.
A firm, intense red Bordeaux with blackcurrants and purple fruit, as well as hints of walnuts and some sweet tobacco. It’s full-bodied and dense with layers of fruit and tannins.
