This relatively new wine is a partnership between Francois Thienpont and Guillaume Thienpont, the family responsible for Le Pin and Vieux Château Certan in Pomerol. This is a fantastic way to experience what makes the Thienpont family so revered in the right bank of Bordeaux. It’s layered, silky, with pure berry fruit and so much complexity. There are floral notes from 15% Cabernet Franc, along with Chinese five spice, tobacco, espresso and dark chocolate.
