This is one of the best Gravettes we’ve come across, with notes of violets and fresh plum, and a hint of cigar box, too. The palate is fresh and sensuous, with remarkable vibrancy and persistence on the finish. This is a benchmark Pomerol, and would be more than a match for many of the greatest names here.
