Really nicely textured, with fine tannins and lots of freshness. There's graphite and salinity and lovely length. It grows and unfurls with complexity - it's precise and sensuous but still very well balanced. Very Haut-Batailley.

Tasting notes

This is very structured and serious. Full-bodied, tannic and powerful. Boom. This is one of the best Haut-Batailleys in years. From the new owners, who also own Lynch-Bages.
