2017 Château Mouton-Rothschild, 1er Cru Pauillac

2017 Château Mouton-Rothschild, 1er Cru Pauillac

There's lovely tension and depth, with opulent exotic spice and real energy. Flavour unfurls on the palate, and the tannins are ripe and fine. It's still coming together, but the concentration and structure are really impressive.

Tasting notes

This is a very shy and tight Mouton with blackberries, blackcurrants and hints of terracotta. Full body and very integrated tannins that are extremely polished and beautiful. Spicy and white-pepper finish. Sexy and exciting. So long and refined.
