2017 Château Calon-Ségur, Cru Classé St-Estèphe

The 2017 Calon has an open nose with herbs and a touch of cumin spice as well as fresh black fruits. There's great tension and texture on the palate and nice restraint. It's long and flavours unfurl nicely over the finish. Strictly limited to 6 bottles per customer.

TASTING NOTES

This is very delicate on the attack but it grows on the palate with firm and silky tannins that turn lightly chewy. Builds consistently. Compacted and tight.
