2017 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Cru Classé Pauillac

2017 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Cru Classé Pauillac

There's nice complexity on the nose, with some spice, green pepper and mineral touches complementing the fruit. The palate is racy and fresh, with sloe and blackcurrant, silky tannins and lovely drive. I'd place this ahead of the 2015. There's lovely Cabernet finesse here and mineral freshness.

Tasting notes

Very pretty and focused with a tight and refined palate of juicy tannins and a savory finish. Elegant.
