The nose on the 2015 La Garde is deep and nuanced, with dark cherries, cassis, mulberry, as well as baked earth and wild flowers. The palate is voluminous and textured, with tons held in reserve at the moment, but that comes out with swirling. On the finish, notes of warm gravel and a hint of leather and tapenade complete the picture of a complex, intense, harmonious Bordeaux.
