Followed closely, and purchased by many of the L&W team each year, the 2014 is 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot - using 30% new oak for added depth. On the palate ripe plum, stewed black fruits and liquorice dominate, underpinned by pleasing fine, firm tannins and mouth-watering acidity. Structured, solid and age-worthy, this is a brilliant effort from Beaumont and great value for money.
