A Third Growth wine with 120 hectares under vine, Lagrange has made a polished, silky wine in 2014 with black fruits, liquoice and pencil lead on the nose and palate. It will take some time for the tannins to resolve and the oak to integrate, but when it does this will be a classic St Julien, perfectly poised and refined.
