One of the great estates in St Emilion, sitting next to Pavie and Troplong Mondot, Nicolas Thienpoint has been in charge since 1990. The 2014 is a wine of poise and precision. Floral and juicy it has many layers and was one of the stand-out wines at the St. Emilion tasting. With notes of kirsch, cinammon and violets it is vibrant, plump, racy and very long.
