François-Xavier Borie has done it again and crafted a terrific wine from this underrated Pauillac gem (he also owns Grand-Puy-Lacoste). Cabernet Sauvignon (78%) anchors this wine with the balance Merlot. It is well formed, perfectly proportioned and seamlessly balanced. Pure ripe red fruits, intense and concentrated without being overly dense or tannic. A combination of Pauillac power and class.
