The Cabernet Sauvignon fruit fully matured in 2013 at Montrose and this is reflected in the wine, which is a superb effort for the vintage. Great concentration on the nose and palate, with ripe black fruits dominating and great concentration and a hint of pepper spice on the finish. Comparable to the 1998, where conditions were very similar to 2013, and one of the top-ten reds of the vintage. This is a must have wine.
