On the nose, ripe plums and cherries, with hedgerow fruit, too. The palate of this is silky and medium-bodied, with beautifully judged tannins, and plenty of mineral energy. There’s just a hint of the baked earth character that defines Pessac developing, showing that this will be a brilliant bottle over the next ten year years or so.
