The palate is of crunchy blackberries and damson fruit, reined in by taut tannins and a freshening blackcurrant acidity. Velvet-textured and seamlessly long, this is quite a feminine-styled Petit Mouton this year, a more delicate expression than we have seen for the past few vintages.
